Supplemental brakes are required for flat towable vehicles in most states and by most insurance companies.  Towing with supplemental brakes helps to ensure your safety and RV chassis warranty.  All brake systems include a breakaway to bring you to a controlled stop if your vehicle becomes separated from your RV.
